My name is Robert Suits.
To tell you a little about myself...
I was born and raised in North Texas...
I've been married to my beautiful high school sweetheart, Sharon, for over "43" years and we have been Blessed with two handsome, healthy, strapping sons, Michael and Marc who have since grown up... married, adding our beautiful Daughter-in-laws, Katrina and Adrienne to our little family and begun their own exciting lives. And we are now the proud Grandparents of four precious, adorable little grandchildren, Brandon, Olivia, Tyler and Nolan...
I am a Peace Officer by trade and have been in Law Enforcement for many years, now. I also own and operate an Air Conditioning and Heating business since 1985. In addition, I am an active member of the Garland Masonic Blue Lodge 441 and the Dallas Scottish Rite.
I have been Blessed to have always been handy and able to pursue many hobbies and sidelines. From a very young age, I have enjoyed making things, putting things together and taking things apart.
Of course, woodworking is and has been for many years a passion. I get immense satisfaction and pleasure in creating something beautiful or useful from a piece of wood that might otherwise never be created. Woodturning gives me an avenue to use my creative abilities and learned skills to create a variety of pieces from different materials that others, hopefully, will also appreciate, enjoy and use.
I am always looking for new patterns and designs to create for you. I like learning and doing... and for me, hand crafting my fine writing instruments and other items is a true and genuine pleasure.
